Change of judge – May

The Afghan Hound Association has a change of judge for the May 2022 Championship Show. Bitches will now be judged, subject to KC approval by Ross Gilbert (Affietar).The Association send best wishes to Dan James who has withdrawn for personal reasons.

Updates following AGM

Having managed to hold a successful AGM on the 12th December a number of changes have been made to the officers & committee;

Jeff Bulled has been appointed as Chairman and Bob Parsons as Vice Chair.
Susan Rhodes has been appointed as Vice President

The club and committee thank Susan for her leadership and experience over the last few years, and wish Jeff well in his new role.

AHA 2021 Championship Show

Regarding entries for our 2021 Championship Show being held in conjunction with Driffield, we have had a few enquiries from exhibitors who are showing at the AHA but not at Driffield about passes to enter the site. The stewards at Driffield are fully informed around their partner shows and will be ready to assist entry to the site, so it should be a relatively smooth experience overall. The AHA Show Manager & Secretary will be on site throughout the morning ahead of judging.

July Open Shows

After what seems like an age with no shows, things are finally opening up again. The AHA is pleased to publish the schedules for its “Back to Back” Open Shows, to be held on the 10th July. Please check the Shows and Events page for details.
