The Afghan Hound Association have many plans for 2023. We will be holding our AGM on 15th April 2023 at Newbold Pacey and Ashorne Village Hall.
May Championship Show – Bank Holiday Monday 1st May at KC Building, our judges are Pat Latimer and Monica Fairburn with Susan Rhodes referee. Special Award classes will be judged by Simon Luxmoore.
Back to Back Open Shows will be held at Chieveley 8th July with the return of The AHA Olympics and BBQ. Judges are Richard Bott and Luke Johnston.

The Afghan Hound Association is deeply saddened to share the news that our Hon.Overseas Vice President Fukie Yoshimoto has passed away. Our thoughts and sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Entries close for the AHA Championship Show next Monday 18th April. We’ll be celebrating the Queens Jubilee at this show, holding a small street party in the lunch break, and awarding an extra prize for the exhibitor “best dressed to celebrate the jubilee”. Additional details will be sent out shortly.
